Welcome to Revive — Meet Gemma

15 January 2025 · 3 min read

Hi! I'm Gemma, and I'm so excited to welcome you to Revive Scar Therapy.

I'm a mum of two, and my little ones are my soul focus and my drive to create something I'm truly proud of. I'm a qualified massage and scar therapist, and helping people is at the heart of who I am — this career lets me live that purpose every day.

I love being in the clinic, creating a safe, supportive space where my clients can focus on their recovery. Whether you're healing from a C-section, recovering after a hysterectomy, or simply in need of some dedicated time for yourself, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Why Scar Therapy?

So many people don't realise that scars can cause issues long after they've 'healed' on the surface. Tightness, pulling, numbness, itching, restricted movement — these are all common experiences that scar therapy can help with. And it's never too late to start.

Scar therapy isn't just about the physical scar. Scars often carry emotion too — they tell a story. Creating a space where people feel safe to process that is incredibly important to me.

Two Beautiful Cotswold Locations

I'm based at two lovely clinics in the Cotswolds:

Newbold-on-Stour — open Tuesdays, 9am to 2:30pm. This clinic is kid-friendly with easy pushchair access, wheelchair accessibility, and plenty of parking. There's a private waiting area and a spacious treatment room with room for your little one.

The Body Barn, Chipping Campden — a beautiful setting in Ebrington. Get in touch for availability at this location.

What's Next?

I'll be sharing tips on scar care, insights into what happens during treatment, and updates from Revive right here on the blog. Follow along on Instagram too — @revive.cotswolds.

If you've been thinking about scar therapy or massage, I'd love to hear from you. There's no such thing as a silly question — just get in touch.
